I became seriously interested in tide pooling when I lived in Half Moon Bay, California. After taking a training course in marine biology, I was qualified to lead school groups through Fitzgerald Marine Reserve, just south of San Francisco. I now live on the southern Oregon coast, where I have access to a wide variety of intertidal habitats.
All the photos on this website have been taken by my husband, Bryan. Except for the photos of the octopus and the white Ring-spotted Doris, all photographs were taken on the southern Oregon coast.
